- Looking at your body outline, does it show the complexity of your insights into the character OR does it symbolize what the text says about the character.
- Based on your ideas in this piece, develop a claim that shows insight (beyond the text).
Work/reading time: Read or begin working on your book jacket. Link to the Summative Task: The White Tiger Book Jacket and Explanatory Essay and rubric.
Homework: Finish the book; decide what lens you will use + formalist to analyze the entire novel and form a thesis/claim.
